Sound Coffee

Sound Coffee is a specialty coffee roaster with a café in Black Rock. The café serves espresso and drip coffee, cold brew, tea and seasonal drinks such as pumpkin spice and pecan pie lattes, along with a short food menu that regulars praise for sandwiches and pastries. The company also sells whole-bean coffee online, with subscriptions and sample packs for trying several roasts.

The Black Rock café is at Fairfield Avenue and is open daily in the morning and early afternoon, with place-ahead pickup orders available. Sound Coffee also brings a coffee cart to private events, weddings, corporate gatherings and pop-ups, and ships roasted beans across the country. There is free parking in a lot behind the store.
