Shore Acres Yacht Club

Shore Acres Yacht Club is a sailing club at the mouth of Kettle Creek on Barnegat Bay, first opened in 1941 and a member of the Barnegat Bay Yacht Racing Association. Its fleet sails 29 weekends of structured racing each spring, summer and fall, along with several regattas hosted every year. The club is also known for its junior sailing program, where certified instructors teach beginner through advanced skills in full- or half-day classes.

Membership gives access to the clubhouse and facilities, the right to rent the clubhouse, and invitations to member events. Outsiders are welcome to stop by for a race or to join a boat as crew. The clubhouse is open nightly Wednesday through Sunday, and visitors can arrive by land or sea. The original clubhouse was lost in Tropical Storm Sandy in 2012, and the club reopened in 2019.
