Bowling Green

Bowling Green Country Club is a private golf club on Fairview Avenue with a 73-acre course of nine greens and eighteen tee boxes, so each hole can be played from four tees. The club offers golf memberships with social-only options, lessons and clinics, and a pro shop. Its Fairway Grill serves a public lunch menu of burgers, sandwiches, salads and baskets on weekdays, plus a Sunday breakfast.

The course is open to the public seven days a week during the summer, except for special tournaments and organized outings. Tee times can be booked online or by phone, and carts are available. The club also hosts events and banquets, and membership requires a refundable $250 bond. Members dine at the grill on Monday, Tuesday and Friday evenings.
