Dogs and Cats Emergency & Specialty

Dogs and Cats Emergency & Specialty is a veterinary hospital offering 24/7 emergency and critical care alongside specialty services in internal medicine, neurology, oncology, ophthalmology, radiology and surgery. The hospital was founded in 2003 by two veterinarians with a focus on internal medicine and cardiology, and has since grown into a teaching hospital with seven departments, including ER and ICU.

Pet emergencies should be brought to the hospital directly, with no appointment needed. Specialty visits in internal medicine, neurology, surgery and oncology start with an appointment request form on the website. The practice also offers an end-of-life care service and a wellness program for clients and the community. It is located on Laurel-Bowie Road in Bowie, Maryland.
