Nielsen's Frozen Custard Bountiful

Nielsen's Frozen Custard & Diner is known for its frozen custard, made in a patented custard freezing machine that founder Steve Nielsen developed. The diner side serves hamburgers, grinder sandwiches with house-sliced meats and fresh-ground pepper relish, chicken sandwiches, and personalized grilled cheeses, along with its own fry sauce.

The Bountiful location is on West 2600 South and is open Monday through Saturday, with later hours on Friday and Saturday. The family still runs the business, with the founders' children and many of their grandchildren working alongside them. The company also operates locations in several other Utah towns and in Las Vegas.
