BFA | Boulder Furniture Arts

Boulder Furniture Arts is a fine furniture design and build studio that has operated in Boulder for over 40 years. Its core line, BFA Classic, is a collection of time-honored dining tables, chairs, beds, desks and cabinetry made in traditional ways and largely unchanged since 1985. The studio also takes custom commissions through its BFA Create arm, which covers design drawings, live-edge pieces and built-ins, and it works with hardwoods and walnut-and-steel designs.

Custom projects start with a concept and budget planning stage and move through CAD drawings and renderings before fabrication. Furniture is built and brought to the customer, with full-service installation available, and shipping is offered as well. The studio stands behind its work with a lifetime guarantee and also repairs, refinishes and moves BFA-made pieces. The workshop is at 3225 Prairie Avenue in Boulder.
