Olde England Painting

Olde England Painting is a residential painting company that handles exterior and interior painting, molding and trim, deck and fence painting, plastering, and carpentry for homes in and around Boston. Paul Adkins started the business in 1992 after moving from England, and he personally works on every job with a small crew that includes a carpenter for repairs before painting begins. Much of the work has come from referrals, especially in Newton.

The firm is an EPA Lead-Safe Certified Firm and is licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Labor Standards as a lead-safe renovation contractor, with a certified supervisor on site, which matters for homes built before 1978. Free estimates are offered, and the painters use low- or no-VOC paints. Customers often mention clean job sites and crews that finish on schedule.
