Free contemporary art museum and teaching museum of MassArt621 Huntington Avenue, Boston, MA

MassArt Art Museum presents contemporary art exhibitions on the Massachusetts College of Art and Design campus. As a kunsthalle, it does not keep a permanent collection, so its shows change often. This season includes Baseera Khan's work in the lobby, Banu Cennetoğlu's installation upstairs, and Robert Lazzarini's mathematically distorted sculptures downstairs.
Admission is free, and advance ticket reservations are available. The museum is also the teaching museum for MassArt, with programs for students, educators, and families, plus events such as Noodle & Doodle and Make with MAAM. Hours run Thursday through Sunday, with later hours on Thursday evening.
