Home builders in Boston

Home builders take on projects that change a house, from building new construction on a lot to gutting and rebuilding the interior. Many also handle repair work after a fire or other damage, and common jobs include roofing, siding, masonry, decks, porches and roof decks. Start by asking for a written scope of work and a schedule that lists each phase, since remodels often uncover problems that change the cost. Check that the builder holds a current license and insurance, and ask for references from projects similar to yours. For a remodel or restoration in Boston, contact builders well before you need to start, because busy crews often have the strongest calendars months ahead.
