Colchester Partners is an investment banking and strategic advisory firm that works with investment management organizations and their professionals. Formed in 2002, the firm handles mergers and acquisitions, ownership succession planning, structuring equity incentives and valuations. Recent work includes advising a wealth manager on a strategic minority investment and helping a firm sell a majority stake to New York Life Investment Management.

The firm works with management-owned firms weighing strategic options, institutions considering a sale or divestiture, and organizations restructuring ownership or setting up incentives for key employees. It has engaged with more than 300 investment management firms since its founding. Its office is in Boston, and its professionals also volunteer with several nonprofit organizations through Colchester Cares.
