DogWatch Systems

DogWatch Systems is a locally owned dealer for DogWatch hidden dog fences, which use a buried boundary wire and a receiver collar to keep dogs inside a set area. The dealership sells and installs outdoor systems and indoor pet fences, and it also carries electronic training collars and replacement batteries. The collar gives a warning tone or vibration as a dog nears the boundary, followed by a mild correction if it keeps going. The company has been making hidden dog fences since 1990.

A free estimate and consultation are offered for each property, and the price depends on the number of pets, the size of the yard and details like driveway crossings. Training is part of installation, with a few minutes of practice each day for about two weeks. Outdoor systems carry a lifetime limited warranty when professionally installed. The dealership serves Greater Boston, Metro-West and the surrounding area from its Bolton office, which is closed to walk-in visits on Tuesdays and Thursdays for now, so calling is the easiest way to reach them.
