Custom drapery, shades and shutters sewn in-house2003 Hedgewood Dr., Bloomington, IL
Drapery Decor is a locally owned sewing workroom run by owner Heather McGrew that makes custom window treatments, including drapery, Roman shades, blinds, shades, shutters and valances. Services also cover fabric and hardware selection, re-upholstery, and pillows and cushions. The work spans residential clients and designers, architects and renovation professionals who bring in their own clients.
The process starts with a free consultation, where McGrew talks through style, function and budget and shows a range of designer fabrics and hardware. Measuring-only visits for a flat fee and installation-only jobs are also available. Appointments are required, and the workroom is at 2003 Hedgewood Dr. in Bloomington, Illinois.
