Blaine Electric, LLC

Blaine Electric is a family-owned electrical contractor that handles residential and business work, from panel upgrades and whole-home rewiring to outdoor landscape lighting and electrical safety inspections. Owner Thomas Powell, who worked as an electrician in the Chicago area for many years before moving to Tennessee, does the work himself and is present on every job.

The company offers free estimates and is licensed, bonded and insured. Calls are handled through the office in Blaine, and the crew also takes on jobs in Rutledge, Corryton and Knoxville. Homeowners preparing to sell or buy can have their electrical systems checked against current Tennessee housing code, with fixes ranging from a few new outlets to larger rewiring.
