J & M Landscapes

J & M Landscapes is a family-run landscaping and hardscaping company that has worked in the Birmingham area since 1990. The company handles design, construction and installation in-house, so homeowners and businesses deal with one crew instead of several contractors. Its work includes retaining walls, patios, pool decks, drainage fixes, irrigation systems and sod replacement.

Many projects start with grading and drainage, since standing water and erosion often trace back to how the ground slopes. Commercial clients such as office buildings, retail centers, HOAs and apartment complexes are served too. Free estimates are offered, and the company covers Birmingham and nearby towns including Hoover, Homewood, Mountain Brook, Vestavia and Alabaster.
