Cowlicks

Cowlicks is a hair salon built for children, offering cuts and wash-and-blowouts for kids along with a parent menu with a mom cut, a dad cut and a wash and blowout. The salon aims to bring the quality and consistency of an adult salon to a kids setting, and it started from owner Alison Rogers's experience with the gap in children's hair care.

The salon has a kids menu that includes a baby's first cut, with services for children seven and under. Its stylists are led by a manager and include several hair stylists. The shop is on 29th Avenue South in Homewood, and it is closed on Sundays, with shorter Saturday hours.
