Billy Brown Flooring

Billy Brown Flooring sells designer-grade area rugs, finished rugs and remnants, and runs an in-house workroom that handles binding, serging, resizing and repair. The team has worked with designers, architects, builders and homeowners for more than 50 years, and the showroom also carries carpet.

Homeowners can come in to look at samples and get help choosing a rug, while designers and trade customers get discounted pricing. The shop will come out to measure, can lay out tricky spots such as fireplaces, stairwells and hallways, and will travel for out-of-town jobs. Rug pads can be bought on their own, and the company stands behind its work with a satisfaction guarantee. The showroom is in Irondale.
