Staggering Ox serves meals from its menu at the Billings location, with online ordering available for customers who want to order ahead. The business also hosts events and runs an art gallery, which gives the space a second use beyond dining.

The Billings shop is in Suite D at 2829 King Avenue West and is closed on Wednesdays. Most other days it opens late morning and runs into the evening, with a shorter Sunday schedule. Staggering Ox also operates a Helena location, so the Billings shop is one of two.
