Pruning by Design

Pruning by Design is a landscape design practice that blends art and science to create gardens. Its portfolio includes projects such as a midcentury boardwalk, a corten steel and river gravel garden, a shady glade, a color-rich planting called color riot, and a riverside farm. Selective hand pruning is one of its listed services.

The firm is located at 4702 De Russey Parkway in Chevy Chase, Maryland. Its project range runs from woodland clearings and stone and swale landscapes to off-the-grid properties, and it is pet-friendly. Neighbors considering a garden redesign or pruning work can reach the firm by phone.
