Councilor is an accounting and advisory firm that works with businesses, nonprofits, and individuals on audit, tax, accounting, and financial planning. The firm says it grew out of CBM, a respected accounting firm with more than a century of history, and now offers an integrated mix of advisory, accounting, and wealth management services.

Councilor serves automotive dealerships, closely held businesses, construction and real estate firms, professional services firms, and not-for-profits. Its wealth management arm, Councilor Wealth, is a fee-only subsidiary that handles investment advice. The office is at 7910 Woodmont Ave. in Bethesda, and new clients usually start with an introductory call.
