Sun Light & Power

Sun Light & Power is a solar contractor that designs, installs and services solar photovoltaic systems and battery storage for homeowners, businesses and non-profits across California. Founded in 1976, it is one of the older solar companies in the state and serves residential customers alongside multi-family, affordable housing, senior housing, healthcare, places of worship, schools, and warehouse and industrial properties.

The company is a 100% employee-owned Benefit Corporation with more than 3,000 completed installs according to its own materials. It offers financing options, including solar leases, and a 25-year warranty on its systems. Customers can request a solar analysis through its website or by phone, and the office in Berkeley keeps weekday business hours.
