The Blue Benn Diner

The Blue Benn Diner is a classic diner in a 1957 silk city diner car, known for breakfast all day in a menu that goes well beyond diner standards. Breakfast favorites include omelets, Benedicts, pancakes and burritos, and the lunch side has sandwiches, grilled specialties and burgers, with a Veggie Corner and vegan options such as tofu scramble. The diner has been serving Bennington since 1948, when the car was shipped and assembled on its present site.

The diner is open for breakfast and lunch most days, with shorter hours on Tuesday and Wednesday and later hours Thursday and Friday. Online ordering is available Tuesday through Friday, and phone orders for to-go food are not taken. Fried items are not available until 10:30 a.m. The diner is at 314 North Street in Bennington, Vermont.
