BAPS

BAPS Auto Paints & Supply is a family-owned distributor of automotive paint and refinishing supplies for body shops. The business began in 1961 as a residential painting contractor, switched to automotive paint in 1979, and became a single-line distributor of PPG products. It also carries 3M products and collision repair equipment.

The sales staff gives ongoing support to customers and can source specialty products for the refinishing trade. BAPS also offers compressed air and paint booth cleaning for shops that need it. The company describes itself as faith-based and says it supports the community. Its locations are spread across the mid-Atlantic, and it is now run by the fourth generation of the family.
