Universal Martial Arts

Universal Martial Arts, known locally as UMA, teaches Tae Kwon Do for children and adults, Hapkido, and Cardio Kickboxing. The coaches are described as competing or coaching at the state, national, and world levels, and classes focus on confidence, character, self-defense, and fitness. Tae Kwon Do classes cover forms, free-sparring, and in selective classes, meditation.

New Tae Kwon Do students can sign up for a free uniform. Classes are offered in person and virtually, and the studio's regular hours are weekday evenings and Saturday mornings. The studio is at 48 Washington Street in Bloomfield, New Jersey.
