Harford County Transmissions & Automotive

Harford County Transmissions & Automotive is a family-run auto repair shop in Bel Air, best known for transmission work, including rebuilds, repairs and clutch jobs on both foreign and domestic vehicles. The shop also handles brakes, alignments, engine and cooling system repairs, air conditioning, and Maryland state inspections, and it services 4x4s and work trucks.

Chris and Michelle Knopp opened the shop in 2001 and deal with customers directly, since it is not a franchise. Work carries a warranty of 24 months or 24,000 miles on parts and labor. The shop also takes fleet accounts from commercial businesses across Harford County, Cecil County and southern Pennsylvania, and it is on Underwood Lane in Bel Air.
