Emmorton Snowballs & Ice Cream

Emmorton Snowballs & Ice Cream serves snowballs, soft-serve and hand-dipped ice cream, along with sundaes, milkshakes and snowshakes. It started in 1981 as a small snowball stand and has grown into a long-running Harford County favorite. The shop is known for quality products and friendly service, a standard set by founder Ms. Chris and carried on today by her son Neil and his wife Jamie.

The stand is on East Wheel Road in Bel Air, near the Festival at Bel Air Shopping Center. It is open seven days a week from mid-March through mid-October, with hours that shift through the season, so check before a late-season visit. It also closes for some holidays, including Easter Sunday.
