Sequoia Mental Health Services

Sequoia Mental Health Services is a non-profit provider of behavioral health and addiction recovery care for adults, children and families in Washington County. Its work ranges from outpatient adult mental health treatment and child and family services for ages 6 to 18 to live-in residential treatment, supportive housing units, and outpatient substance use care, including dual-diagnosis treatment for people facing both issues. Sequoia also runs DUII diversion and a low-barrier intensive outpatient substance use program that does not require insurance to start.

Intake is handled by phone, and new clients can be seen same-day, by walk-in, or through telehealth. Services are funded through OHP, Medicare with Medicaid, and commercial insurance, and people without insurance may be helped to apply for other funding or considered for private pay. Spanish-speaking services are available, and residential care runs 24/7. The main office is in Aloha, with a satellite office in Hillsboro.
