Dr. Charles McBride's optometry practice has served patients in Beaverton for over 70 years, caring for children, adults and seniors with everything from routine eye exams to complex eye conditions. The practice covers glaucoma, cataracts, dry eye, macular degeneration and retinal disease, and works with surgeons it knows well when surgery is needed. Dr. Ezra Atikune, who also practices here, is one of a few Binocular Vision Dysfunction specialists in the Pacific Northwest.

The office fits all types of contact lenses, including soft, rigid, hybrid and scleral lenses, and offers orthokeratology for children and adults. Soft contact lens wearers get eye care visits covered for a year, and the practice bills both vision and medical insurance. Patients should expect that dilating drops often blur vision and cause light sensitivity for three to five hours afterward. The office is at 12370 SW First Street in Beaverton.
