J&S Automotive

J&S Automotive is an independent repair shop that works on Asian and domestic cars and trucks, with a specialty in Toyota and Lexus. Common work includes oil changes and scheduled maintenance, brake repair and replacement, and computer-based diagnostics for problems that are hard to pin down. Owner Jon Troiano spent fifteen years as a service technician with Lexus before running his own shop, which has served drivers since 2010.

Jon works on vehicles himself and is glad to talk through car questions by phone at no charge. The shop uses visual aids to explain repairs and keeps customers updated as the work goes on, and it backs its repairs with a warranty. The shop is on SW Shaw in Beaverton and serves customers from Aloha, Hillsboro and West Portland as well. Oil change pricing is competitive, which keeps many customers coming back for routine service.
