South End Surf 'N Paddle

South End Surf 'N Paddle is a family-owned surf shop and surf school in Beach Haven, offering surf lessons, kids surf camps, paddleboard experiences and surfboard, paddleboard and kayak rentals. The shop stocks a large showroom of new and used surfboards and paddleboards, wetsuits, skimboards and exclusive South End apparel, and it does board ding repair.

Surf lessons are mostly private 90-minute sessions scheduled one or two ocean shifts per day, and summer camps for ages 6 to 16 fill up quickly, so reserving early is wise. Gear rentals can be booked online. The shop is at 220 South Bay Avenue in Beach Haven on Long Beach Island, and it offers free lessons and tours to veterans and first responders.
