Bird & Betty's

Bird & Betty's is a waterfront restaurant, bar, live music venue and nightclub on the bay in Beach Haven. The menu leans toward seafood and wood-fired pizza, with cocktails and a live music calendar that runs late into the night. It draws on a long local history, having started as the Acme Hotel tavern before the Bird and Betty family bought it in the late 1950s.

The restaurant takes reservations, and a shuttle called the Betty Bus runs seven days a week through Labor Day, picking guests up from 44th Street in Brant Beach to Holgate. Rides are arranged by text, and pickups start at 6 pm. Sunset views from the deck and a teen night are part of the regular draw, and the restaurant is on Dock Road on Long Beach Island.
