Industrial general contractor and EPFC partner for large projects15635 Airline Hwy, Baton Rouge, LA
Cajun Industries is a family-owned industrial construction company that works as a general contractor and engineering, procurement, fabrication and construction (EPFC) partner. Its self-performing crews handle engineering, site development, deep foundations, civil work, mechanical and pipe fabrication, module fabrication and marine construction for large industrial clients. The company says it works mainly in oil, gas and chemical, power, LNG, life sciences, manufacturing, mining, water infrastructure and disaster response.
Cajun's direct-hire model means its own employees do the work rather than subcontractors, which the company says gives it more control over schedules and quality. The company was founded in 1973 in a small garage in Baton Rouge and is now run by the second generation of the family. Its headquarters and Baton Rouge office is on Airline Highway, with other offices in Port Allen and New Iberia, Louisiana, and in La Porte and Tyler, Texas.
