City of Bastrop

City of Bastrop is the municipal government for the city, running city hall along with departments for utilities, parks and recreation, the public library, municipal court, the fire and police departments, and Fairview Cemetery. Residents pay utility bills, register for programs, and reserve parks and pavilions through city offices, and the Bastrop Recreation Center offers monthly memberships with resident and non-resident rates.

For police, EMS, or fire emergencies, call 911. Electrical and water or wastewater problems can be reported to a 24-hour city line, and a city employee is dispatched to the location. Recreation center memberships are sold in person only, and membership fees are not refunded once paid.
