Bastrop Academy of Music

Bastrop Academy of Music offers private music lessons for children and adults across piano, voice, brass, guitar, violin, cello, bass, drums, fiddle and electronic music production. Instructors teach a wide range of styles, from classical and Bach to rock, jazz and Texas swing, and the academy also runs a student orchestra for beginning string players.

Lessons are personalized, and the academy operates a recital hall where students can perform. The school is located at 1109 Main St in Bastrop, inside the Lumberyard Music Hall, a live music venue in downtown Bastrop. Hours on weekdays and weekends vary, so check the posted schedule before visiting.
