LH Block Electric Company, Inc.

LH Block Electric is a commercial and industrial electrical contractor that handles new construction, tenant build-outs, power distribution upgrades, LED retrofits and lighting controls, and generator and backup power installs. The company traces its roots to LH Electric, founded by Lukas Hunsinger in the 1950s, and was purchased by Randy and Cathy Block in 1979. Today the business is run by four of their sons and is known for its work on Chicagoland office, retail, and industrial projects.

The company works with businesses rather than homeowners and takes on everything from small facility repairs to larger installations. It is a member of Associated Builders and Contractors and can help with ComEd incentive paperwork for qualifying lighting projects.
