Once Upon A Smile

Once Upon A Smile is a pediatric dental practice that focuses on children and teens. The office is themed around storybooks, with cloud-filled ceilings, moonlit murals and story-themed treatment rooms meant to make routine checkups feel less like appointments. Services cover cleanings, digital X-rays, fluoride, sealants, tooth-colored fillings, pulpotomies (baby root canals), stainless steel crowns and extractions.

The practice offers nitrous oxide, oral conscious sedation, and hospital-based general anesthesia at St. Alexius Medical Center for children who need extra support. Silver diamine fluoride and the Hall crown technique are used to stop early decay without drilling. The office is at 18 Executive Ct in South Barrington and serves families from Hoffman Estates, Palatine, Schaumburg, Inverness, East Dundee and Deer Park, among other communities. New patients can use online forms to get started.
