Big Yellow Dog Architecture & Designs

Big Yellow Dog Architecture & Design is an architecture practice that takes residential and renovation projects from an initial inquiry through to construction. The process starts with an online inquiry form, followed by a meeting to talk through the project in detail. From there the firm prepares a schematic design with a site plan, floor plans and exterior and interior elevations, then produces construction documents that contractors use to estimate costs and bid.

Clients who are planning work are asked to bring a legal survey of the property, a list of the rooms or spaces they want, and any inspiration images. For renovations, existing floor plans or elevation drawings help. Once a contractor is chosen, the firm stays involved through construction to check that the work follows the drawings. Inquiries are answered within one to three business days.
