Viking Village

Viking Village is a commercial seafood company and fishing dock in Barnegat Light, known for wild-caught scallops and a range of Atlantic fish including tuna, swordfish, monkfish and flounder. The dock handles fishing boats from several fisheries, and its catch is iced and packed out for sale fresh across the United States and to international markets.

The company works with local and U.S. fishermen on responsibly caught fish and scallops and takes part in cooperative research with the National Marine Fisheries Service. Its retail fish market, Cassidy's Fish Market, is closed for the season and reopens Good Friday 2027. The dock also runs seasonal public tours that explain commercial fishing, with the next tours planned for summer 2027. The business is at 1801 Bayview Avenue in Barnegat Light.
