The Seawife

The Seawife is a decor and antiques shop that mixes vintage pieces with made-in-the-US handcrafted folk art. Its stock leans toward nautical salvage, industrial and country elements, recycled and reinvented items, antique garden pieces, and collectibles from 1950 and earlier, with the occasional pre-1930 quilt for softness or geometric pattern.

The shop is set in a garden filled with birdhouses, iron gates, urns, architectural salvage, and antique garden furniture, around an 1896 schoolhouse and an 1800s barn. It is a good stop for beach house, loft, or winter home decorating ideas. The Seawife is open Friday through Sunday in Barnegat Light, at Viking Village on Bayview Avenue.
