About KYGUNCO

The story

KYGUNCO is a firearms retailer that sells handguns, rifles, shotguns, suppressors, ammunition, optics, archery gear and outdoor equipment, with used and factory blemished firearms also listed. It also runs an indoor shooting range and offers bow maintenance, repair and tuning, and it started in 1946 as Keene's Depot before becoming KYGUNCO in 2001.

The Bardstown store is at 401 Glenwood Drive, with a second store in Louisville and a call center, and the site says it ships firearms nationwide with free shipping on many items. The business also works as an FFL transfer point, so firearms bought online can be transferred through a local dealer. Store hours are Monday through Saturday, and the indoor range asks visitors to sign in by 5:30 PM.
