Southway Builders

Southway Builders is a construction management firm founded in 1991 that handles complex construction and renovation projects for public, private, and non-profit clients. Its work covers affordable and market-rate housing, historic buildings restored for new uses, senior living communities, healthcare facilities, life sciences labs, schools, and office and retail space.

The firm manages projects from preconstruction through closeout and puts a strong emphasis on jobsite safety, with a dedicated safety director and recognition including the Diamond Safety Award from ABC's National STEP Program. Its Baltimore office is in the city, and it also has an office in Durham, North Carolina. Its projects are generally large commercial and institutional buildings rather than homes.
