About MISSION BBQ

The story

MISSION BBQ is a barbecue restaurant opened in 2011 by two friends who wanted to honor the people who serve their communities and country. The menu centers on barbecue the founders developed after touring well-known barbecue regions across Texas, Kansas City, the Carolinas and St. Louis, and the restaurant also handles catering orders.

The dining room is decorated with tributes to military members, firefighters, police officers and other first responders, many contributed by the people they honor. At lunchtime the restaurant holds a daily salute to the Stars and Stripes. Gift cards are sold online. This Baltimore location is open most days until evening.
