The Ganzhorn Suites

The Ganzhorn Suites is a memory care assisted living community for residents with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia. Its programs combine evidence-based memory care with music therapy and personalized enrichment, and it says it can provide complex medical care to residents in the later stages of Alzheimer's.

The buildings have private suites, natural light, circular walking paths and simple décor with memory cues, designed to be easy to find your way around. Residents live in one of four households, and all staff are required to become certified dementia professionals. Families can attend support group meetings and seminars on memory loss. This Avon community is one of two locations under the Ganzhorn name, the other in Powell.
