WU Chow

WU Chow is a modern Chinese restaurant serving dishes drawn from eight regional styles, from Sichuan and Cantonese to Hunan and Zhejiang. The menu is built on family recipes developed by Chef Ji Peng Chen, who has more than 40 years of cooking experience in New York City and Austin, and the kitchen adds a modern touch to traditional dishes. The restaurant also runs an elaborate tiki cocktail menu alongside beer, wine and zero-proof mocktails.

The dining room has dark finishes and bright pops of color, and it suits date nights, family dinners and group dim sum brunch on Sundays. Lunch is served on weekdays, with happy hour in the bar area in the late afternoon. Reservations and online ordering are available, along with takeout and delivery, and private and group dining spaces can be booked for events. WU Chow is in the IBC Bank Plaza at 500 West 5th Street downtown.
