Starbase Brewing

Starbase Brewing is a Texas craft beer brand with a space theme, known for five beers including Occupy März, Of Kölsch I Still Love You, The Terraformer, Lucky Launch Day Lager and Starhopped. Founded by engineers who love rockets and space exploration, it draws ideas from recent rocketry work and aims to be the first brewery on Mars. In 2025 the brewery mixed wort and yeast aboard the International Space Station to study fermentation in microgravity.

Most of the beer is sold in retail stores in Texas and Florida, including H-E-B and Central Market, and six-packs can be bought online and shipped. Shirts, hats and hoodies are sold alongside the beer. The brewery is located in Austin and runs on solar power, and it gives 1% of profits to science education.
