South Austin Metals

South Austin Metals sells mild steel, aluminum and Corten steel, and stocks items like expanded metal, angle iron, square tubing, plate, pipe and flat bar. The company also cuts metal to custom lengths and fabricates custom steel pieces, from gates to metal buildings. Its welding team has decades of experience, and the business has been operating since 1987.

Customers can buy over the counter at the shop or have orders delivered to a job site or business in Austin, and the company will order in items it does not stock for next-day delivery. The sales yard is open Monday through Friday and on Saturday mornings, and the team can also help with design, engineering and installation. The shop is on South Interstate 35 Frontage Road in Austin.
