Skinny's Barber Shop

Skinny's Barber Shop is an old school barbershop that uses traditional methods for its haircuts, aiming to give every client a good cut and a good experience. The first chair opened on Westgate Boulevard in South Austin in 2015, founded by John "Skinny" Cleaveland, and the shop now runs two more locations: one in Cedar Valley on Highway 290 and one in Central Austin off Interstate 35.

Appointments are available, but walk-ins are always welcome. The Central Austin shop keeps the Kervin's name and sits in the old Delwood Shopping Center, where Kervin's Barber Shop has been since 1961, two doors down from Fiesta Mart. Skinny's ties its roots to that shop, which is one of the older barbershops in town.
