Portella's Steel Doors and Windows

Portella makes custom steel doors and windows, with thin frames, oversized units and impact-rated and energy-efficient options for architects, builders and homeowners. The company also builds custom wood doors and windows in Austin and offers aluminum doors and windows. Its steel products include a patented thermally broken frame series and commercial storefront systems.

Portella works with a project manager from quote through shop drawings and installation, and it handles its own transportation for large pieces. The company is family-owned and has been in business since 1999. Its Austin area showroom is at Todd Lane in the Austin area, and it lists locations in several other cities.
