Nova Body Shop

Nova Body Shop is a family-owned auto body shop on North Lamar in Austin, handling collision repair, bumper repair, dent and scratch repair, and auto paint. The shop has been run by the same family at the same address since 1980, and many of its customers were first brought in by a parent. Structural damage is straightened on a frame bench, and the shop uses a paint booth for refinishing.

Estimates are free and walk-in only, with no appointment needed; most in-person estimates take 5 to 15 minutes, and bigger damage takes longer. Nova works with all major insurance companies or with customers paying directly, and it can quote by text if you send a VIN and photos. The shop is at 8415 N Lamar Blvd in North Austin near US-183, and it serves North Austin and nearby communities including Pflugerville.
