Moontower Saloon

Moontower Saloon is a South Austin bar set under a grove of live oak trees, known for its outdoor patio, craft beers, signature cocktails and live music. Food trucks parked on the property serve Texas barbecue and other dishes, and the bar also hosts sand volleyball on three courts on the north side of the property.

Live music runs Friday through Sunday, and the courts take open play on Fridays and Saturdays with tournaments on Saturdays; call ahead for court availability. The saloon hosts private parties, holiday parties and catering, and reservations are recommended for tables. It is located at 10212 Menchaca Road in South Austin, with an indoor bar that has air conditioning as well as covered outdoor seating.
