Mohawk

Mohawk is a live music venue, event space and bar on Red River Street in downtown Austin, built in 2006 and booking national, regional and local acts throughout the year. Shows are general admission and standing room only, and the venue is known for its upper tiers, which regulars favor for sound and view.

Shows are typically all ages, with drinks available once doors open at 5 PM. Set times are not published in advance, so arriving around door time is the usual plan. Mohawk also hosts trivia nights, yoga, workshops, a chili cook-off and private events, and it takes part in the Red River Cultural District festivals. Local bands can request bookings by email.
